The Little Tokyo Historical Society, in conjunction with Visual Communications and the Japanese American National Museum, as part of the celebration of its 10th year anniversary presents CRIMSON KIMONO, a film set in Little Tokyo staring James Shigeta, the Golden Globe’s Best New Star of the Year (1960). This groundbreaking 1959 Sam Fuller detective film featured several ahead-of-its-time ideas about race and society's perception of race, a thematic and stylistic trademark of Fuller. Crimson Kimono takes place in Little Tokyo during Nisei Week and features some of Nisei Week’s staples, the Parade, doll show, and martial art competitions.

Maximum of 10 tickets per person.
